You will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing & BD to develop and implement annual MBD plans, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic priorities. Your role will involve directing the client programme, initiating the Client Care programme, supporting sector programmes, and steering proactive pitching initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee regular MBD reporting and take charge of key sponsorships and partnerships. This role offers an exciting blend of strategic planning, project management, and hands-on execution.Offer strategic Business Development advisory services to practice groups and sectors, including the creation and execution of annual MBD plans.Spearhead the client programme, in collaboration with Head of M&BD and with assistance from the MBD team.Initiate the Client Care programme to instil client service best practice.Assist on the local sector programme for identified focus sectors.Manage pitches and capability statements, including identifying opportunities for proactive pitches.Steer the local WIN programme to fortify relationships with in-house contacts.Take charge of the delivery of the bespoke M&BD Learning & Development programme.Oversee regular M&BD reporting.Take the lead on key sponsorships and partnerships.What you'll bring:The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role brings a wealth of experience in leading strategic business development initiatives within a professional services environment. You possess robust project planning skills, coupled with exceptional business writing capabilities, particularly creating compelling bids. Your understanding of the professional services industry will be crucial in comprehending and meeting the needs of our clients. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, self-manage your time effectively, and pay strong attention to detail will be key to your success in this role.
