About the job This role defines long-term organisational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.. Your contribution to the team includes Develop business development strategies to achieve organizational goals in consultation with the Managing DirectorResearch business opportunities and viable income streamsManage and retain relationships with existing clientsIncrease client baseIdentify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.Understand the company's goal and purpose so to continually enhance the company's performanceComply and ensure work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with workplace health and safety, quality rules and regulationsDevelop relationships with other Sales team members to ensure effective working practices and strong supportRepresenting the Sales function to collaborate with and support other departmentsComplete other projects given by the Managing DirectorOther duties and tasks as assignedWhat you will need to be short-listed Min 5 years' experience of the role in sales/business development within a construction related environmentSuccess orientedLeadership skills, strong work ethic, open and reliableAmbitious, confident, performance driven and target focusedWell organized, methodicalPositive team spirit, willing to assist in all areas of departmentExcellent communications skills, both written and verbalCompetent in the use of MS office (excel and word)Ability to learn and adapt to PERI and its systems quicklyA tertiary qualification in civil/structural engineeringTo know more about the company please visit our website: and see why PERI Australia has attracted and retained some of the best professionals in the industry!
