The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll take ownership of identifying opportunities, closing deals, and driving long-term revenue growth. Reporting to the CEO, this role is key to expanding our client base and delivering innovative solutions across industries like manufacturing, construction, and professional services.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers and deliver tailored solutions.
Drive new business growth by identifying and qualifying opportunities.
Manage customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and repeat business.
Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract finalisation.
Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Utilise HubSpot and other CRM tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
Travel across Australia and New Zealand to attend client meetings and industry events.
Skills & Experience:
Proven success in B2B sales with a focus on consulting or IT services.
Expertise in relationship building and networking at senior levels.
Agility and demonstration of a "can-do" attitude.
Proficiency in tools like HubSpot, Office 365, and project scheduling software.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage complex projects.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
