Business Development Manager- Auckland Or Christchurch

Job Description We're looking for a talented and 'hungry' sales professional to help us keep the good energy flowing. As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a lead role in identifying and growing sales and business opportunities to drive revenue and margin growth. By identifying and developing strategic business relationships/partnerships and working collaboratively to obtain new customers in the B2B and SME channels, including large C&I customers and Retic, you will contribute significantly to our wider business performance and our aim of making Rockgas the supplier of choice in all channels.
Qualifications Along with being an awesome team member with lots of initiative and a 'get up and go' attitude you will have:
Proven senior level sales/business development experience (8+ years)
A demonstrated track record of 'hunger' for and success at driving and delivering profitable and sustainable new business growth – revenue, margin, customers, brand etc
Strong business/commercial acumen including an excellent understanding of sales processes and the ability to make decisions based on business data
Excellent ability to network and build relationships across all facets of our company including industry bodies, appliance manufacturers, decision makers and developers
Exceptional sales, negotiation, influencing and contract management skills
A relevant tertiary qualification in business or a commerce field is desirable as is previous sales/business development experience in B2B and/or the energy sector.
