About the Role: As our Business Development Manager – Alcohol, you will be the driving force behind increasing our market share, sales, and margins in this exciting category. Your mission? To inspire and influence our account managers with your expertise, guide them to deliver the best service to our customers, and grow Bidfood's presence in the market.
What You'll Do: Grow Sales & Market Share: Boost our sales and margins in the alcohol category, making Bidfood the top choice for our customers.
Lead by Influence: Train, mentor, and motivate account managers to execute our alcohol sales strategy with flair.Customer Engagement: Maintain a regular call cycle to engage new and existing customers, ensuring they receive top-notch service.Promotions & Events: Plan and coordinate exciting promotional programs, tradeshows, and events that make our products shine.Analyze & Strategize: Provide monthly sales analysis, identifying growth opportunities and engagement strategies for new or inactive customers.Stay in the Know: Keep the team informed about market prices, trends, and new product info to stay ahead of the competition.Stock Management: Assist in managing stock levels and forecasting to minimize out-of-stock situations—because no one likes an empty bar!Who You Are: You're a sales dynamo with experience in the alcohol industry—whether it's wine, spirits, or beer, you know your way around the bar.
You've got the skills to inspire and train others, making you a natural leader.You're numbers-savvy, with the ability to analyze sales data and craft winning strategies.You know how to juggle multiple tasks, from managing stock levels to coordinating promotional activities.You're tech-savvy, comfortable using tools like Realtime, Houdini, and Excel to keep things running smoothly.Why Join Us?
