Business Development Manager (12m fixed-term contract) Pure Nutrition Limited (PNL) is owned by Westland Milk Products (Westland), a longstanding Dairy organisation based on the West Coast of New Zealand. Pure Nutrition blends and packs finished dairy based nutritional products for supply to Ausnutria and other international organisations. Pure Nutrition is a stand-alone entity that has built its own plant at Rolleston and the plant's initial capacity is expected to be around 20 million cans of milk formula per year.

About the Role
This is a great opportunity to grow your career and hone your skills in a high-opportunity environment. Looking to build a successful Sales approach, we are on the hunt for an experienced and accomplished Business Development Manager. This will be an individual contributor within our senior management team, and the role will be reporting directly to the GM at Pure Nutrition. This person will be required to identify and generate new business relationships for Pure Nutrition. You will be the face of Pure Nutrition, gaining new business opportunities and increasing market share. This will be a 12-month contract due to short-term business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse market insights to identify new business opportunities
Obtain new business through prospecting and solution selling
Spearhead the execution of our business growth strategy
Meeting and exceeding KPI's
Developing ongoing relationships to ensure you are cross selling and increasing revenue streams for the business
Sales reporting and maintain CRM notes
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
First and foremost, you need to be self driven, a true hunter and have drive to succeed. Dairy experience and knowledge is a must along with a strong work ethic with the resilience to work in this competitive industry.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with;
Proven BDM experience in dairy industry
Technical knowledge of dairy ingredients and their applications
Professionally savvy
Excellent presentation with clear communication ability
Ability to maintain your administration in CRM and working with tight KPI's
Exceptionally self motivated
Ability to manage key relationships
