Business Coordinator

Details of the offer

Datamine is a leading analytics consultancy who operates across New Zealand and Australia. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to step into the role of Business Coordinator. Datamine is all about empowering people to use data analytics. We aim to give people power, through the ethical use of technology, to make decisions that transform their work, lives, and communities for the better. We collaborate closely with our clients to leverage insights and provide organisations with proven, repeatable success in this area. We thrive on making a difference. We have been the leader in this space for over 25 years, working across all industry verticals. The ideal candidate for the role is a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for operational excellence and a strong commitment to supporting executive leadership. This role requires someone who can seamlessly manage both the administrative and operational functions of the business while serving as a key partner to the founder, ensuring that their time is optimised, communication is clear, and all processes are efficient and effective. What You'll Do: Administration & Representation: Be the go-to person for keeping things running smoothly. You'll manage the founder's calendar, emails, and communications, making sure everything is handled efficiently and with care. Represent the founder in communications and meetings, ensuring their message is clear and decisions are in line with the company's mission and values. Protect the founder's time by prioritising tasks, filtering communications, and managing access to them, ensuring that their focus remains on high-impact activities. Business Optimisation: Create and refine processes that make the business run like a well-oiled machine. Your work will help streamline operations and improve how we do things daily. Focus on continuous improvement, ensuring that our systems and processes grow and evolve as the business does. Oversee and manage daily business operations, coordinating with various departments, and suppliers to ensure alignment and smooth execution of tasks. Marketing & Brand Building: Help in marketing the founder's brand, making sure their vision and values are communicated effectively both internally and externally. Coordinate projects that enhance the company's reputation and visibility, working closely with the marketing team to align efforts. Alignment with Mission & Values: Ensure all decisions and actions align with our mission and purpose. You'll help guide the team by our core values, making sure everything we do contributes to our bigger goals. Foster strong relationships ensuring collaboration and mutual success internally and externally. What You Bring: Attention to Detail: You're someone who spots the little things that make a big difference, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Great Communication: You understand the importance of language, whether it's an email, a meeting, or a project update, you're clear, concise, and effective in getting the message across. Process-Oriented: You love creating systems that work and are always thinking of ways to make things better. Brand Savvy: You understand how to market and represent a brand, ensuring it aligns with the company's vision and values. Outcome-Driven: You focus on results, making sure every task or project contributes to the overall success of the business. Creating Efficiency: You have expertise in scheduling, prioritising tasks, and ensure you get the most out of available time. Values-Aligned: You believe in working with purpose and ensure your decisions are guided by the company's mission and values. Curious and Proactive: You love finding answers and putting solutions in place. Your Background: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field. A track record of making things happen. In this role, you'll not only keep things running behind the scenes, but also play a key part in shaping the future of the business. We're looking for someone who's ready to make a real impact and help drive our mission forward. Datamine offers you: A supportive work environment where your contributions are valued. An opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team. A values-driven organisation. The potential to grow your skills and the role. An environment that will allow you to be you and to thrive. A place that celebrates our wins and is on the path of continual learning. A business that believes in accountability not hierarchy. How to Apply To apply for the position, please submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience (and yes, we read them all). We're excited to welcome a results-driven individual to our team.
