What you will be doing The purpose of this position is to provide a structured approach to transforming and optimizing Tower's business processes and capabilities.
As the Business Architect, you will ensure that the business architecture aligns with the strategic goals and objectives of the organization, facilitating informed decision making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business needs, developing strategic solutions, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a comprehensive capability model, enabling Tower to respond effectively to business changes, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into architecture models and solutions.
Assist with future planning for Tower systems, including budgeting, change management QA, working with Infrastructure, Solution Architects, and/or the Project and Squad Managers.
Provide proactive suggestions for effective maintenance of Tower systems e.g., opportunities for performance improvement, archiving, automation.
What You'll Need The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in optimizing business processes and systems to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business architecture, business analysis, or a related field within the insurance industry.
Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.
Proven track record of developing and implementing business architecture frameworks and models.
Experience in strategic planning and aligning business and IT strategies.
Experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive capability models across various levels of an organization.
Experience of systems design, development, and implementation across several technology platforms with a special focus on web-based environments.
A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry-specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives.
Understanding and knowledge of the principles of information and enterprise architecture.
Strong situational analysis and decision-making capability.
