BUSINESS APPLICATIONS ANALYST Full-time, Benefited This position offers a hybrid workplace model; mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees.

The Business Applications Analyst provides systems leadership and design, business analysis, and support and maintenance for the organization's core business applications including enterprise resource planning (ERP) and geographical information systems (GIS). This position serves as a key liaison between the IT team and business units to understand business needs, processes, and how technology could enable improvements and meet business objectives.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Advanced in-depth knowledge of integration of applications, databases, networks, and system security. Knowledge and ability to work on projects using different IT methodologies, such as agile/scrum and waterfall. Advanced knowledge of enterprise reporting and analytics technologies such as SQL Server Reporting Services or Power BI. The ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal skills, including exceptional influencing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information in a simple and direct style. Demonstrated ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint and the Power platform. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, plus five (5) years of relevant experience in a complex IT environment with enterprise systems, and multi-stakeholder projects. Experience should include: Significant and recent experience in supporting enterprise applications, such as ERP and GIS, in an information technology environment. Significant experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes, preferably in a Microsoft environment. Significant experience with change management processes and project management methodologies. Experience with application design and development life cycle; and Information Technology security. This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week. Also included is a comprehensive benefits package. The position may be eligible for enrolment in the Municipal Pension Plan (MPP) as per MPP guidelines. The normal annual entry salary for this position is $83,825 with a range from $80,181 to $91,115 commensurate with experience.
