About the role We are looking for a Business Analyst to join us for a 6-month fixed term period, 40 hours per week.
The role is to help us deliver a company-wide digital transformation project, focusing on identifying areas for process improvements, enhancements, and inefficiencies, specifically for our China market.
A key focus for us is our ERP system (QAD), and we will be looking for someone who has experience and a passion for using technology to drive efficiencies.
This role offers the flexibility to work where you want and when you want.
We just ask our team to be available when needed during core hours and ensure availability to travel to the site if really needed.
As this role supports our team in China, you will be required to attend online meetings in the evenings (6pm - 9pm) a couple of times each week.
Our teams manage their own hours and adjust their working hours to fit around meetings and home commitments.
You could be based anywhere in New Zealand, but if you are local to the Bay of Plenty, we have recently opened newly-refurbished offices with desks, collaboration spaces, lounge areas, and a staff lunch room.
There will likely be a requirement for someone in this role to travel to China to work with our team (likely 1 week, at Comvita's expense).
What we would like from you Previous experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with knowledge of Sales and Distribution processes.
ERP system experience is essential.
Able to digest complex end-to-end processes quickly.
Ability to identify and calculate risks whilst developing possible solutions.
Able to mentor/coach people through change - help people understand why processes need to change and win their buy-in.
Proven effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
