Are you a motivated, experienced and passionate Business Analyst looking for a new challenge in Local Government?
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be comfortable building relationships and leading work with a variety of people from across the business to work on enhancing processes and technology.

We are keen to hear from Business Analysts who:
Have a relevant industry qualification and at least 5 years previous experience in a Business Analyst or IT roleHave proven analytical abilitiesAre self-motivated and use their initiativeCan work independently on tasks or running small projectsEnjoy taking ownership of their workHave the ability to relate to a wide range of people both internally and externallyPossess proven interpersonal skills and the ability to obtain collaboration and cooperationAre well organised, able to prioritise and work to deadlinesAre diligent and thorough with a desire for accuracyHave excellent communication and facilitation skillsPossess advanced organisational skillsHave an understanding of financial concepts and processesHave strong documentation and report writing skillsHave systems/UAT testing experiencePossess highly developed documentation, report and workflow process writing skillsHave experience in the procurement cycles for technology solutions including specifying RFI & RFP requirements, evaluation and selection processes.Working with the Upper Hutt City Council is a rewarding way to support the community, work with a great team, and develop your career.
