The Business Analyst role sits within the Client Transition function of the wider Client Relationship Management team.
You are responsible for managing and assisting with onboarding and transition of new clients, onboarding of new funds and services for existing clients, delivering project and change requests (along with new initiatives and enhancements) for clients and assisting with internal change and process improvements.
You will work closely with the other Client Transition team members, other Client Relationship Management team members, Sales team members, Business Solutions team members and other teams.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining an end-to-end project management system that captures all requests (client, internal, group, regulatory and technology), facilitates prioritization, optimizes resource allocation, provides oversight of progress and enables management information reporting.Analysing the requirements of and processes for new clients, managing or assisting with the onboarding and transition of their business.Managing or assisting with the onboarding of new funds and services for existing clients.Managing or assisting with the delivery of project and change requests (along with new initiatives and enhancements) for clients.Assisting the Business Solutions team with any internal change and process improvement projects and requests.Meeting with clients to understand what needs to be delivered, ensuring that (for any project plans or Statement of Works) the specifications are accurate from a process and technical point of view and produce meaningful results both internally and to clients.Keeping all stakeholders, both internal and clients, well informed and aligned with deliverables, timelines and any changes.Running and attending meetings with clients, both project and request specific steercos and meetings as well as regular client review meetings (as requested by the Client Relationship Managers).Managing risks by identifying potential roadblocks and developing effective contingency plans.Thorough testing of any developments or changes to our New Zealand business processes and systems.Conducting post implementation reviews, using data analysis to help measure success and identify areas for future improvement, presenting findings to senior management and other key stakeholders.Documenting and sharing knowledge of our business processes and systems.Training other team members and clients where required.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with technical and operational and other team members across the New Zealand business.Undertaking other duties, and participating in other projects and initiatives as required by the business, from time to time.Skills Required: 3+ years' experience in a project management, business solutions, business and technical analysis and process controls related role.Ideally experience within the financial services, technology or similar industry.Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and ideally PowerPoint.Strong problem solving skills – understanding and resolving issues with initiative and common sense.Confident in presenting and explaining complex concepts to other team members and clients.Strong verbal and written English skills.Confident, respectful and considerate attitude.Strong attention to detail.Self-motivator.Organised / time management skills – can prioritise and deliver to deadline.Team player who is prepared to lead and follow, assisting others when required.Working at ApexPrepare to accelerate.
