Te Reo Tataki, TVNZ is undergoing transitioning from a broadcast centric organisation to become a digital-first, public media streamer.
This transition is supported by a strategic transformation programme designed to speed up our transition, and to provide the roadmap for Te Reo Tataki, to continue as a vibrant, commercially sustainable media organisation that delivers trusted news, sport, and the best of international and local entertainment to Aotearoa for generations to come.
The opportunity - Te turanga Working as part of the Content Media Systems Investment Programme (CMSIP), the Business Analyst will be involved with different areas of the business to help the programme be successful in the delivery of the programme's strategic objectives.
This role will involve the elicitation and documentation of requirements/user stories; current and future process flows, procedures and policies; solution design; assisting with the development of test cases; and user acceptance and training coordination.
Project delivery methods can be agile, waterfall or hybrid.
This role also includes data analysis as it relates to the migration of data from legacy to new systems.
This is a 12-18 month fixed term contract. To be successful in this role, you will need the following: A minimum of 7 years in a Business Analyst role including roles within large projects and, preferably, large programmes of workWealth of experience working with project teamsAn understanding of the media industry is highly desirable, particularly across the Content Media Supply Chain (from rights management and programming and scheduling through to digital and traditional broadcast distribution)Experience with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodsExperience working within projects and programmes delivering significant transformational changeFamiliarity and experience with Excel and Jira.
