The Story:
Our client, a leader in digital water solutions, is enhancing its software team to meet the growing demand for their innovative applications. Their flagship product, an advanced water supply application, integrates real-time control, data processing, and analytics, supporting water infrastructure for public and private sector clients. This role is essential in maintaining and advancing the application's capabilities, contributing to critical software for water management solutions.

Your role:
In this role, you will work on enhancing new and existing projects by interacting with stakeholders, gathering, and defining requirements and specifications. You will act as a liaison between stakeholders, management, and software development teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of key software initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Analyse and define technical and functional requirements
Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for software development teams
Assist with system analysis, software testing, and release processes
Develop user and functional test plans and test scripts
Perform user acceptance testing
Support software deployment
Your Fit:
Experience working across gathering requirements, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria
Demonstrated experience working closely with software development teams across the full SDLC
Strong understanding of software development, testing, and deployment processes
Strong experience in technical writing
A background in Utilities, Engineering, and/or SaaS sectors would be ideal
Knowledge of software testing and bug identification
Experience working in an Agile environment
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
A good team player, with a positive attitude, self-confidence, and strong attention to detail
