We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business & Administration Manager to lead our administration team in delivering exceptional services that enhance patient care and streamline service operations. The successful candidate will drive a culture of high performance, support patients and their whanau, and contribute to the ongoing improvements in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the administration team to deliver high-quality support services that meet the needs of patients, whanau, and the service.Workload & Resource Management: Ensure effective team workload distribution and resource allocation to support patient flow and meet service delivery goals.Consumer Focus: Promote a consumer-centric approach within the team, ensuring patient and whanau feedback is addressed promptly and that service delivery is centered on their needs.Process & Systems Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of systems and processes, improving data integrity and aligning with administrative best practices.Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and report on team performance against key metrics, quality standards, and service consistency, implementing continuous improvements as necessary.Operational Management Support: Provide administrative insights and support for service planning, reporting, and model of care efficiencies.Facilities & Supplies Management: Oversee the purchasing of office supplies, facilities maintenance, and development to ensure a conducive work environment.Financial Management: Work within established financial processes to ensure accurate payments and assist patients in managing their accounts.Project Participation: Contribute to projects that deliver timely, quality, and cost-effective outcomes.Collaboration: Work closely with peers within the Integrated Health Services Central group and colleagues across the Coastwide area.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in team leadership.Exceptional customer focus and commitment to patient-centered care.Diplomacy and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive issues, with the ability to negotiate and influence.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Proven experience leading successful improvement initiatives.Experience managing data and various information systems.Relevant qualification in business or leadership.Health sector experience (desirable but not essential).Being part of the Te Tai o Poutini West Coast, you will enjoy the opportunity for flexible working arrangements and an ongoing focus on your career development.
