We are seeking two professional Class 5 Drivers to join our team in Auckland on a 3-day, 3-night, 3-off rotating shift roster.
You must have a minimum of Class 5 licence with 3 years' experience and take pride in personal presentation and your equipment.
As we work in a safety sensitive role, you will need to ensure that you are vigilant in following our standard operating procedures as well as adhering to our safety rules and policies.
The successful applicant would be required to undertake the following tasks on a day-to-day basis: Maintain communication with Fleet Operations Manager/Schedulers, keeping them informed of run progress and/or delays; Understand and follow SMITH defensive driving principles always; Ensure trucks and tankers are kept clean and tidy to set standards; Ensure vehicles driven carry all documentation required by law; Assist in training of new and inexperienced drivers; Follow set procedures for pre-shift checks, loading, driving, and unloading.
We require our drivers to be customer-focused to ensure our customers always have fuel.
Previous fuel experience would be advantageous but full fuel industry training will be provided to the successful applicant.
