We are currently looking for 2 people to join our team.Click link to access the position description.He korero mou: About youThis role is responsible for managing the scheduling of the auditors across the region and assisting with the administration around enforcement including support for the Team Leader, Senior, and the wider team. Along with the end-to-end building warrant of fitness renewal process, you will provide advice to the industry, building owners, and the building control team on technical issues related to compliance schedules and building warrant of fitness, building-related rules and regulations, and quality assurance. In undertaking this role, you will help ensure compliance with the Building Act and Regulations and the safety of commercial buildings.This role may also include the creation and amendments of Compliance Schedules as well as providing occasional support to the Code Compliance Certification team.To be successful in this role, you will have:Have or be working toward a relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant technical qualifications in the field of Compliance Schedules and building warrant of fitness or Building related qualifications.Experience in the field of Compliance Schedules and building warrant of fitness preferred but not essential.Good technical understanding of the requirements set out in the Building Act 2004.Up-to-date knowledge of legislation, rules, regulations, technical and industry standards relating to building warrant of fitness.Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships as you will be dealing with people such as building owners and technical experts.Computer literacy to enable effective production of reports, monitoring and statistical information, and information access.Nga ahuatanga kei a matou: What we offerAuckland Council is evolving Auckland into a world-class city, and you can help make it happen!
