The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and driven Building Services Manager who has had experience in a similar position with a main contractor and the skills to deliver a professional standard of customer service and maintain a positive a cooperative attitude towards clients.
For this role you will require a strong mechanical/and or electrical background to help with new builds, new base build services and excellent communication skills to liaise with trades and sub-contractors. You will have an excellent knowledge of the core service disciplines and associated New Zealand Building Code Standards.
You will coordinate with the site teams and supervise building services trade installations, and maintain daily oversight of the services programme status, quality, and act proactively on exceptions. You will be able to provide efficient and reliable services management support to the project manager to deliver complex commercial projects.
Ensuring that projects are delivered safely and successfully by developing a team oriented and collaborative work environment, you will have a disciplined and self-motivated work ethic, able to plan and can work as part of a team to ensure Best Practice principles are achieved; excellent communication and organisation skills; a commitment to zero accidents and injuries.
Above all you will be passionate delivering innovated solutions to our clients and have the aptitude to work as part of a team and nurture relationships with all stakeholders.
