The opportunity We are seeking a motivated and driven Building Services Engineer who has at least three years of experience in a similar position with a main contractor.
You will require a strong mechanical/hydraulic and/or electrical background and excellent communication skills to liaise with trades and sub-contractors.
You will have an excellent knowledge of the core service disciplines and associated New Zealand Building Code Standards.In this role, you will provide day-to-day technical support, coordinating with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors, as well as supervising building services trade installations (including mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic, drainage, and specialist services); ensuring an exceptional quality of service is provided.
You will support the project manager in delivering complex commercial projects efficiently and reliably.Ensuring that projects are delivered safely and successfully by developing a team-oriented and collaborative work environment, you will have a disciplined and self-motivated work ethic, the ability to plan, and work as part of a team to achieve Best Practice principles; excellent communication and organizational skills; and a commitment to zero harm.Above all, you will be passionate about delivering innovative solutions to our clients and have the aptitude to work as part of a team and nurture relationships with all stakeholders.It is expected that you take ownership of outcomes for assigned projects, ensuring that they are delivered safely and successfully with a quality and cost-effective service being provided to our clients.
