About The Company
Our client is New Zealand's largest and most experienced Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) provider, known for delivering prestigious construction projects across various sectors such as Commercial, Healthcare, Data Centers, Education, and Industrial.
About The Opportunity
As a commissioning engineer, you will collaborate with the senior associate ICA to provide commissioning management services for projects in Auckland and some nationwide projects.
Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing engineering designs for commission-ability
Developing commissioning specifications and plans
Creating commissioning programmes
Collaborating with building services subcontractors on commissioning methodologies
Managing life safety systems integrated testing
Observing construction installation onsite and providing reports
Witnessing and reporting on contractor commissioning and testing

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

5+ years of engineering experience with strong project management skills
3+ years of building services and commissioning management experience
Familiarisation with the New Zealand Engineering & Commissioning standards as required
Familiarisation with the New Zealand Green Building Council Green Star process
Engineering or construction-based degree qualification
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications

You will also have:

Strong desire for continuous learning and development
The ability to work well in a team with a customer-focused mindset
Organisational skills and self-motivation
