About the Role: As a skilled carpenter, you'll be working across a variety of commercial and residential projects, crafting and installing carpentry that meets the highest standards.
You'll have the opportunity to work on both small-scale custom pieces and larger installations, contributing to everything from bespoke cabinetry to comprehensive interior fit-outs.
Your expertise will be key in bringing detailed designs to life, ensuring each project is completed with accuracy and quality.
What We're Looking For: Proven Carpentry Experience: You have a solid background in carpentry, with hands-on experience in the construction, assembly, and installation of carpentry components.
You're comfortable working from detailed plans and specifications, and you take pride in the precision of your work.Trade Qualification: Ideally, you hold a relevant trade qualification such as an NZ Trade Certificate in Carpentry (or equivalent).
Your qualification, combined with practical experience, equips you with the technical know-how to tackle complex projects with confidence.Eye for Detail: You're meticulous in your craft, ensuring that all measurements, cuts, and finishes are done to exacting standards.
You have a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for quality workmanship.Toolset & Transport: You come prepared with your own full set of tools and reliable transport, enabling you to work efficiently on-site.Independent and Team Player: While you can manage tasks independently, you also thrive in a collaborative environment.
You understand the importance of communication and teamwork, ensuring that every project runs smoothly from start to finish.Key Requirements: Proven experience as a carpenter in both residential and/or commercial settings.Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., NZ Trade Cert in Carpentry).Own a full set of tools and reliable transport.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to read and interpret detailed plans and specifications.A positive attitude, reliability, and a good work ethic.
