In this role, you will work within one of New Zealand's most reputable structures asset management teams looking after some of the nation's oldest bridges.
You will be expected to manage and deliver a wide range of exciting projects for our established client base.
Projects include delivery of life-extending strengthening and remediation works, alongside connecting communities with new and replacement solutions.

Mou ake | About you We are looking for a Structural Engineer passionate about bridges and helping our clients manage their portfolio of existing bridge assets.
You will focus primarily on Asset Management, overseeing the quality and safety of structural assets across the South Island.
Responsibilities include: Assessing existing bridge assets by providing condition, live load capacity, and seismic assessments.
Partnering with clients to understand their long-term plans and key drivers.
Helping our clients manage and prioritise forward works on their existing assets.
Designing and delivering remedial or repair work.
Working with contractors to understand industry best practice, current construction methods and key Health and Safety / Safety in Design practices.
Successful Candidates Will Possess: You will be Chartered or motivated to achieve chartership, and we will support you in doing this.
Strong communication skills: Thrive in a collaborative environment, effectively communicating with both the close-knit team and wider business.
Proven bridge design expertise: Extensive experience designing bridges and other civil structures, with a consistent track record of leading design teams to successful client outcomes.
Innovative problem-solver: Highly motivated to improve project delivery through creative solutions and progressive approaches.
Client-focused and business-minded: Experience collaborating with clients, fostering new partnerships, and demonstrating strong business acumen.
Experience / Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in relevant field.
Expertise in application of principles and practices within discipline.
Experience in a consulting environment.
Professional body certification/registration.
