To maintain our industry-leading position and meet exacting standards, we seek exceptional talent across all areas of our operations.About the roleWe are currently looking for an experienced and passionate farm manager to join one of our world-class breeder farms in Christchurch. You will be accountable and responsible for managing and maintaining the breeder flocks, ensuring each flock receives optimum living conditions and upholds the welfare standards.Reporting to the Regional Breeder Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, monitoring, and reporting on the farm's production to ensure maximum productivity is achieved on a regular basis.The role is challenging and hands-on, so it requires a person who is meticulous, thorough, and self-motivated.Our ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:Experience with livestock including a genuine concern for animal welfare.Experience with modern poultry farm equipment and control systems.Committed to quality and budget management.Experience liaising with service providers.Focused on health and safety.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and farm alarm monitoring.Physically capable of performing a hands-on livestock role.Mechanically minded and understands equipment and machinery maintenance.What do we offer?Competitive remuneration packagePossible accommodation option availableMedical and life insuranceDiscounted company productsAn opportunity to advance your career within a world-class livestock operationApplication ProcessIf this position is what you are looking for as your next career move or step up, look no further, and apply now.
