We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Cook to assist in the preparation of our breakfast buffet, as well as handle some A-La-Carte orders and assist with evening meal prep.
The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a love for cooking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
While formal culinary qualifications are not required, previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
About the role: Prepare and cook breakfast items for the buffet, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Assist in the preparation of A-La-Carte orders for guests Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service Assist with the preparation and setup for the evening service Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and hygiene standards Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize food waste Monitor inventory levels and communicate any supply needs to the kitchen manager Assist in other kitchen duties as assigned Here's what you can expect when you join our team: Career development and training opportunities Discounted hotel rates both nationwide and internationally Discounted Food & Beverage rates Meals on duty Requirements: Previous experience in a breakfast cook or similar role is preferred Passion for food and a strong desire to provide excellent culinary experiences Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays This is a part time casual role only.
