We are seeking a Break Bulk Operations Coordinator to join our progressive and fast-paced 4PL logistics company (Lodestar) based at either our Greenlane, Auckland or Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty office.
Reporting to the Break Bulk Shipping Operations Manager, you will be joining a busy, agile, and experienced team that manages logistics for NZ's second largest manufacturing exporter.
You will be exposed to a wide range of operational responsibilities, including development in operational leadership via account management of 3rd party logistics providers.
Key responsibilities include: Participate in load operation planning with the view of achieving best outcome at both load and discharge ports Continuously update vessel management system The custodian of Lodestar Break Bulk shipping schedule Financial reporting and forecasting Assist with quotations for 3rd Party cargoes where required (Northbound & Southbound) Scenario analysis for industry Grow relationships with break bulk customers To be successful in this role you will be: Well organised – planning and prioritisation a strong attribute Agile with an action-orientated approach to work Committed to attention to detail A solid time manager, able to prioritise and work to deadlines A full driver's licence as there will be some travel required between sites Preferred technical understanding of load and discharge methodologies We offer: Competitive salary package Enhanced superannuation Free RegularCare Southern Cross medical insurance Free income protection, permanent disability, and life insurance Supportive, experienced and committed team Collaborative work environment If you're looking for a development role in operations, are positive, and motivated to work hard, have outstanding team player skills, people skills and attention to detail, then we should talk!
