Join our small but passionate Marketing & Innovation team. You'll be a confident, collaborative Brand Manager who doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in.About this opportunity: You'll need to hit the ground running! This fixed-term role involves:NPD development – getting multiple projects through the stage and gate system, ready to launch in the New Year and beyond.Working with our innovation on other key projects already underway.Leading the development and implementation of the creative and communication plan for NPD as well as supporting the team on wider Sealord brand communications.Working with our sales team on pricing strategy and category strategies to grow sales.Market Insights and Reporting: Use consumer insights and market data to shape brand strategy and growth.Financial Leadership: Manage the category P&L and financial performance, focusing on budgeting, cost optimisation, and efficiency to align with business goals.What we offer:The opportunity to work on a leading New Zealand brand.Full end to end responsibility for strategy and execution.Friendly, inclusive work environment.The role is ideally full time, but part time would be considered for the right candidate. Sealord offers work from home flexibility (two days a week, for full time staff).About you: We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager, with FMCG & product development experience. Specifically:NPD project management and stage & gate experience.Experience briefing agencies on creative and communication plans to launch new products.Ability to work collaboratively with a team and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.A passion for branding and an interest in current marketing strategic trends.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and persuasively to various audiences.A roll up your sleeves attitude, ability to work to tight deadlines and able to multitask.Excellent commercial skills, managing gross profit delivery of your brands and categories and excellent excel skills. Understanding financial metrics helps make informed decisions that improve the brand's profitability and market position.A satisfactory pre-employment drug test and a physical medical assessment will be required to be considered for this role.
