About the Role: We are currently recruiting a newly created role – Key Account Manager/Brand Manager, in our Respiratory team. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, Respiratory and HIV, this hybrid role will initially be focused on Brand Management and then shift to an emphasis on Key Account Management in field. The KAM/BM will build customer disease and therapy area understanding to deliver core strategic imperatives/ tactics for the Respiratory Brand. Key Responsibilities (Key Account Management): Accountable for sales performance and sales growth acceleration Understand customers clinical practice and the local patient pathway to develop comprehensive account plans. Achieving high levels of coverage, and delivering appropriate activities, with target customers Providing science led and value-added two-way communications and engagement to customers that supports best outcomes for patients Developing and maintaining a high level of professional knowledge relevant to scope of role (therapy area, product & customer knowledge, business planning etc) Strong business acumen and ability to synthesize sales information and insights to build commercially astute, prioritized and targeted account plans that deliver value across core stakeholders Key Responsibilities ( Brand Management): Develops and implements the brands strategic business plan to achieve sales targets and long-term funding objectives Identifies and "scopes" potential new opportunities for the brand in conjunction with other stakeholders & SBM/ BMs Develops and maintains effective relationships with external stakeholders to support long-term strategic ambition Works proactively with other functional areas to ensure customer relationship processes are effective and streamlined Represent GSK at approved conferences and meetings Why you? To be successful in the role, you will have: Significant experience in a BM, KAM, HSR or equivalent role. An applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment. (preferred) Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders. Proven track record with Pharma or related industry – either strong Marketing or healthcare experience An aptitude for science with the ability to relay complex information in a clear and tailored format. A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills. A BA in Biomedical, Science, Business or equivalent.
