Branch Service Technician

We are looking for a branch technician to join our team in Tokoroa.Due to internal progression, we are seeking a motivated individual to provide high-level face-to-face customer service, with full on-the-job training and support, along with opportunities for career progression.This role allows you to contribute to the growth of the business in a challenging environment.Good remuneration and bonusAn opportunity to learn and grow in our industryMedical Insurance and gym subsidiesGreat social environment including staff and other conferencesAbout the roleThis is a busy and varied role, which includes:Answering the phone, taking and keying orders.Manufacturing hoses for walk-in customers through the hose shop.Picking, packing, and sending urgent orders when required.Warehouse work, including stock takes and accurate inventory.Ensuring all aspects of Karcher systems, purchasing, sales, and stock allocation are accurate.Ultimately, you will also have the opportunity to become a mobile sales and service technician if you wish to follow that path.About the personWe are looking for someone with:A people person who is comfortable talking to customers and is a good team player.Flexibility for work hours, including Saturday morning work on a roster basis.A good mechanical aptitude would be beneficial.A willingness and flexibility to take on tasks and responsibilities outside the square.Good physical fitness (some heavy lifting is involved).Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.About the companyHydraulink, founded in 1945, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic hose and fittings.
