We are seeking a Branch Sales Manager to join a trusted and well-respected brand built on honesty and excellent service, supplying fast, effective, reliable hoses and hydraulic services to customers in many and varied industries such as Manufacturing, Waste Management, Agriculture, Construction, Transport, Marine, Mining and Materials Handling.
You will be joining a leading multinational hose and fitting brand with an extensive network in New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. Their focus is to provide outstanding 24/7 service, 365 days of the year.
This unique opportunity will allow you to develop and grow your sales and management skills supporting a small branch team within an enjoyable and rewarding work environment, all whilst proactively driving the local business growth for hose products and services through hands-on development of both new and existing customers, with a strong focus on sales, management, customer service, safety, ongoing learning, and development. You will also be provided with opportunities for career advancement.
You will be someone who:
Has experience in sales and sales management, preferably from within an industrial sector, ideally with a background in Manufacturing or Assembly; however, you may well also have transferrable skills from another industry sector.Alternatively, you may have excellent sales management skills and abilities or may have had experience in a similar role.Has the ability and experience to create and maintain a high performing team through proven leadership capabilities including managing, training, and coaching.Has proven team leadership skills and abilities, including recruiting, selecting, inducting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining direct reports.Has financial management skills and abilities including sales and account management.Can form and develop sound business relationships at all levels of an organisation.Can prioritise and manage rapidly changing workloads and deadlines.Demonstrates the ability to influence others, to negotiate effectively, and present professional business proposals.Achieves revenue and profitability targets for products and services.Can identify new product and service opportunities and can track consumer and competitor trends.Takes Health Safety seriously, whereby all policies and procedures are adhered to in respect of Employment, H&S, and Company assets.Is self-motivated with a positive attitude.You must have residency or citizenship to reside in New Zealand.What's on offer: A great salary plus access to a generous commission program.A company vehicle and fuel card.Subsidized Health Insurance.A company uniform.Ongoing training which is nationally recognised.A great social team environment, including company conferences.Career progression, opportunities to grow and develop.The role is Whangarei based.
