Are you an experienced senior leader who thrives on connecting with the market?Do you excel in establishing and strengthening relationships with clients and leading teams to deliver high quality outcomes?Senior leadership opportunity based in our Queenstown office.Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThis is a unique leadership opportunity for a high performing project or technical director to lead our Queenstown branch. This comprises of dividing your time across three key areas: Branch Management, Market and Client Leadership, and Project Delivery.We envision the split will vary week on week but largely you will spend a quarter of your time on branch management, providing pastoral care for those in the region. The second quarter on project and/or bid delivery at a Job Director/Bid Director level. The remaining half will be focused on Markets & Clients. Success in this role will be building on our brand in the region through connecting across the market and requires a leader who is comfortable stepping outside of their core background area at a relationship level and adopts a multi-market approach.Your key accountabilities in the Queenstown Branch Manager position will be to foster a positive and inclusive culture across the office and to provide leadership that inspires, unites, and influences our teams in a way that enhances and grows our exceptional talent. In collaboration with the Regional Manager, General Managers, and Section Managers, you'll also lead the coordination and execution of market growth strategies. This includes identifying new market opportunities, overseeing market facing activity, and tracking performance to ensure our regional strategic objectives are met.Key to success in this position will be an ability to help build brand recognition across the region with a focus on business development and representing Beca in client and public forums, engaging with key clients, stakeholders, and market contacts.You will be an advocate of our brand, our people, and our clients. Your engaging style is essential in this role. You'll be keen to work on key challenges and opportunities across government, infrastructure, development, environmental, economic, and cultural dimensions.Mou ake | About youComing from an engineering consultancy background or similar, you will have gained a reputation in one of our growth areas (Transport and Infrastructure, Water, or Project Management) and have a passion for technical and project delivery.An excellent networker, influencer, team player, and facilitator who enjoys working with a diverse team, you'll work to create a level of consistency locally among our leaders to support the delivery of the key projects across the region.
