We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and service-driven individual to take on this role and lead a branch that prides itself on exceeding its customers' expectations and has gone from strength to strength in recent years.We are seeking a high performer with a strong work ethic and an open and transparent leadership style, who is committed to driving Argus' continued success in the market.If you are this person, then you will be required to demonstrate:New Zealand residencyA minimum of 10 years' experience in the fire protection, building, engineering or construction industries in NZA proven record in branch leadership, operations management, business development, and customer account managementClient-facing experience in a service businessA natural ability to engage with people and to lead, motivate, and develop a busy and energetic teamThe confidence and ability to contribute to the management of the business nationallyStrong problem-solving skills and an ability to organise resources effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environmentExperience driving a strong Health, Safety, and Wellness cultureAn understanding of the relevant NZ Standards, NZ Building Code and local building compliance regulations, and the HSWA 2015Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a high level of computer literacyResponsibilities for the role will include:Managing the branch's P&L, forecasting, business planning, and growth in the regionIdentifying business opportunities that generate increased sales and marginsDeveloping and maintaining key customer relationshipsAchieving and exceeding monthly targets for sales of Argus' products and servicesBudgeting, cost control, procurement, inventory management, and invoicingThe successful candidate will be a people person who is passionate about customer service and embodies Argus' values.
