ITI NZ is a leading distributor of innovative and sustainable building products, serving the wholesale, joinery, and manufacturing channels throughout New Zealand. Our Christchurch branch is at the forefront of delivering exceptional service and solutions to our customers.
We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to lead and coordinate the operations of our Christchurch site. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with proven experience in sales and operations management within the timber, building, or construction sectors. As the Branch Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to drive the success of the branch through effective leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Christchurch branch's daily operations, ensuring sales, distribution, and administrative functions run smoothly.
Implement and oversee sales plans, marketing strategies, and budgetary controls to meet company profit objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement in customer service and product offerings.
Manage and mentor a team of functional managers and staff to achieve operational and sales goals.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with the General Manager and other site managers to develop and implement marketing strategies.
Key Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in a similar role.
Sales background with demonstrated ability to drive results.
Timber experience (ideal, but not a requirement).
Strong account management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to drive operational efficiencies.
Knowledge of WHS and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
