We now have a vacancy for a proactive, commercially driven Manager to join our branch in Brisbane St, Christchurch on a Fixed-term contract through to February 2026.
This position is hands-on, it will be a sales & leadership role where you will lead your team, and continue to grow the branch & business.
Plumbing World is focused on delivering a personalised service at a business-to-business level, by understanding our customer's businesses, the products they want, and the quality service they need, with this we aim to help them achieve more for their own customers.
You will preferably have a background in the plumbing industry, or exposure to plumbing or wider construction/trade sector with a proven leadership & sales history. You will be a person who is focused on growing sales both with existing and new clients, we want you to go out there and get those customers who are not currently shopping with us also.
With your motivation, previous sales and operational experience, you will have the ability to inspire your team, you will be leading from the front in this role, this is a varied role where you could be serving customers on the front counter, to out doing a delivery, it's all hands-on deck.
Plumbing World is committed to our customer service promise, and we are focused on exceeding customers' expectations, so it's all hands-on deck at the trade counter before 9am no matter your role in the branch, this is to ensure customers are looked after straight away and they get what they need to start their day.
As a Branch Manager with Plumbing World you will:
Grow and lead your team to build profitable market share through the delivery of incredible customer service
Motivate and support others to achieve branch targets in a challenging and exciting environment
Be sales driven and bring in new customers to the business
Demonstrate a passion for sales and develop long lasting partnerships
Make sure customers get the products and services they need
Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Act as an ambassador of our company by role-modelling our values at all times
