Hynds Pipe Systems is looking for a high performer to join us as Dunedin Branch Manager. You will develop and lead our high-performing team by focusing on values and customer service, setting the standard for others to follow and supporting our loyal customer base.
The Role You will relish the challenge of leading a high-performing team, providing leadership, vision, and exceptional customer service to our customers in the civil, rural, water, wastewater, and drainage industries in Dunedin and South Otago. You will have a team to lead, Asset Owners and Customers to engage with, and an Account Manager to support, so the ability to multitask and manage multiple functions/tasks is key. No two days are ever the same as we partner with our customers to solve challenges, provide solutions, and strive to be the best we can be.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
People development
Sales
Operations
Phone enquiries
Stock control
Assisting with deliveries
Being an integral part of the general operations within the branch
What you will bring to Hynds: A desire to contribute to Hynds Pipe Systems' team-first ethos
Self-confidence and approachability
Experience and a good understanding of the construction industry, particularly civil construction and/or drainage
Experience leading and developing people
Current full driver's license
A Forklift license (F endorsement) or ability to gain immediately
