Now looking to increase performance and market penetration for a key branch in the Auckland region, I'm pleased to present this attractive challenge for an experienced Branch Manager. About the role:You will be responsible for the management of a central Auckland branchDevelop and implement sales strategies to increase growth and drive market share – using your commercial acumen to spot opportunities and weak spots in your competitorsTarget, win, and grow strong multilevel relationships with new customers and segment decision-makersCoach, train, and inspire a small team of branch staff Manage branch P&L and keep a close eye on stock/inventory, utilising your well-developed analytical abilityMaximise the efficiency of branch performance to budgeted EBIT targetsMaintain a high level of customer service to ensure a seamless experienceManage and oversee health & safety processesAbout you:You have proven sales and leadership experience in the building products or related sectors, preferably in a branch environmentExperience in the trade customer environment will be highly regardedYou can demonstrate experience in increasing sales performance, as well as streamlining operations - you enjoy interpreting P&Ls and have strong financial acumenYou will appreciate reporting to a direct and supportive Regional Manager who will give you plenty of autonomyYou're comfortable with coaching sales staff and enjoy growing existing customers as well as seeking out and securing new businessYou are extremely customer-centric – the customer is at the forefront of your decision-making Benefits: In return for your efforts, you will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package, which includes a generous salary, company vehicle and performance incentives.This is a smart move for an ambitious candidate looking to continue to build on their branch management experience - a genuine opportunity to make a significant impact in this impressive organisation.
