Job description Branch Administrator Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day) Are you a friendly, welcoming, and engaging person who is tech savvy, with demonstrated experience working in customer facing service and administration roles who works well within a small team? CCS Disability Action Nelson are looking for someone who: Is a team player – but can also work independently. Has friendly and warm personality. Can engage with people from diverse backgrounds in a friendly manner in person and/or over the phone. Is IT savvy, knows their way around computer software and is willing to learn and pick up new systems quickly. Has excellent attention to detail and thrives when no two days are the same. Job specific information This role maintains a high standard of reception service and administrative support that ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the Nelson office and supports the Blenheim office as required. This includes supporting our Service staff to coordinate and provide responsive supports for disabled people we support. Why us? About the role: Provide a friendly, courteous, welcoming and helpful reception service to anyone who comes to the office. Provide information, advice and/or complete Total Mobility Assessments/Mobility Parking Permits Applications in a courteous manner. Input data, maintain and produce information as required from our databases. Provide clerical and administrative support to the Service Manager and Service Co-ordinators at a consistent high level that maintains the smooth running of the office. Maintain a high standard of professional and organisational behaviour and practice. Attend, participate in and seek training/professional development opportunities (including internal and external supervision). Support and maintain effective teamwork. Work in ways which are consistent with Treaty of Waitangi. Undertake other such duties /tasks as allocated by the Service Manager. About you: Friendly, flexible, adaptable and pleasant manner. Team player who establishes good rapport with colleagues and external stakeholders. Office related experience or training. Understanding of the disability sector and ability to relate to disabled people in a positive affirming manner. Experience in the day to day running of a busy office. Customer service focus. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Intermediate level of knowledge of databases and office IT systems including PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel and Outlook. Systems and process focused. Accurate and quick typing and data entry skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and work within short deadlines/timeframes. Willing to learn new skills and take on challenges.
