Branch Accountant - Support Office

Join our Branch Accountant team at PlaceMakers.
You will be part of our wider Finance & Commercial team, managing the accounting needs of 6 branches in Wellington and Bay of Plenty.
You will be instrumental in providing an operational accounting & support function to ensure that all financial and planning obligations are met.
Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed on a timely basis, all while building strong stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities include:Review & complete daily bank reconciliationsP&L and Balance Sheet reviews with Branch OperatorsWork with the sales team to ensure accuracy of margin reporting and the enhancement of marginPreparation of Monthly and Year-End reports, both internal and externalMaintaining the Fixed Asset registerAssist with Capex requestsAnnual Budget reviewsMonitoring and analysis of branch performance against targetsThis is a full-time permanent role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
This role can be based in our Support Office in Penrose Auckland or from one of our branches in Wellington.About you:We are looking for an Accountant who has a real passion for what you do.
With strong problem-solving capability and exceptional attention to detail, you have a can-do attitude and proven experience within both financial and management accounting processes.
