MUSE has an exciting opportunity to join the team as Boutique Manager for our brand-new Arrowtown store, set to open in November 2024. We are seeking a passionate and experienced retail manager to lead our new Arrowtown team and successfully drive store performance.MUSE is a multi-tasking brand and boutique that curates beautiful clothes from the best in women's fashion today. Directed by Olivia Vincent Healy, the company has expanded from a single boutique to four highly prized locations in Ponsonby, Newmarket, Havelock North, and now Arrowtown! Along with an online store and in-house label, MUSE Cashmere.MUSE selects the best pieces from collections by Victoria Beckham, Khaite, Coperni, Christopher Esber, Celine, Loewe, SAKS POTTS, Cult Gaia, Lee Mathews, Tibi, Theory, Matteau and more. All selections are chosen through a lens of pure joy, practicality, and an innate understanding of how the MUSE customer loves to dress, shop, and live.About the role:Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the management of our Arrowtown Boutique, providing strong leadership, achieving sales through exceptional customer service, and building and nurturing a loyal customer base.This means engaging with and inspiring customers via effective storytelling and creative fashion styling as well as establishing meaningful relationships that will drive ongoing customer loyalty to MUSE. The caliber of our brands is such that we expect you to have comprehensive fashion knowledge, from styling awareness to an overview of garment construction and fabrics to the histories of our brands. This is the level of knowledge you'll need to establish meaningful relationships with our discerning clients, most of whom have their fingers on the fashion pulse.Requirements for the role:Minimum 4 years experience in high-end retail managementExceptional customer serviceExperience in growing and nurturing a loyal customer baseExceptional presentationExceptional verbal & written communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of the MUSE brands & aestheticUnderstanding of our customer demographicHighly motivated and driven in your roleLocation: Arrowtown, OtagoHours: 40 hours per week (full-time)Roster: Tuesday - SaturdaySalary: 70,000 - 75,000 per annum (this is dependent on experience) & manager wardrobe allowancePlease apply with an updated resume and cover letter before 11th October 2024.To be considered you must be an NZ permanent resident or citizen.
