Job Description This is a remote position.
Job Highlights
6 month project
Permanent work from home
20 hours a week, flexible within client's business hours
Key Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Generate daily financial reports
Weekly Responsibilities
Track and report KPIs related to financial operations
Issue necessary notifications regarding accounts
Maintain organized filing systems for financial documentation
Monthly Responsibilities
Process PAYE and GST
Conduct end-of-month (EOM) commissions, statements, and reconciliations
Manage budgeting, cash flow, and Profit & Loss statements
Follow up on outstanding debtors
Process payments to creditors
Develop and implement office policies and procedures related to accounts management
Additional Responsibilities
Health and Safety: Follow safe work practices, utilize safety equipment, and assist in minimizing workplace hazards.

Technical Support Team
Administration Staff
Direct Reporting to the Manager
Collaborate with Shareholders
External:
Interact with a variety of customers, including resorts, hotels, motels, cafes, bars, restaurants, tourism agents, trade and service providers
Maintain relationships with private clients and suppliers
Position Requirements
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Xero accounting software
Previous experience in a technology or contract-based business
Proven trustworthiness with a solid understanding of New Zealand accounting practices
Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods with occasional lifting of office supplies
