Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Our client is a well-established professional association representing industry professionals.In this role, you will be at the heart of financial operations, working closely with the Chief Executive, Board members, and Chairpersons.
You will work 25 hours a week and play a key role in shaping the financial future of our client and its associated entities.About the Role:Receive, process, document, and arrange payment of invoices and prepare invoices for debtorsManage staff payroll, GST returns, office bearer per diems, contractor payments, expenses, and honorarium paymentsPrepare end-of-month and end-of-year financial statements to audit standards and undertake financial analysis and interpretationCollaborate on the annual budget and business plan preparation, ensuring accurate financial planningAdminister and manage accounts for associated entitiesSkills and Experience:Proven experience in preparing and administering accounts for small to medium-sized businesses or organisationsAbility to work independently producing financial reports to audit standardsProficient in Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting systems (MYOB), with strong general computer skillsHigh level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and tactfully across diverse groupsExperience working effectively under pressure, both independently and within a team environment.Additional Information:Competitive Salary + KiwiSaver25 hours per week with flexible start and finish timesApply Now!Attention SME bookkeeping specialists!
