About the role
We are looking for a Shift Boiler Operator to join the team at our Ashburton plant. Based on your experience and qualifications, your pay will range from $33.80 - $46.80 per hour. You will be working on a shift roster pattern 4 ON 4 OFF, 12-hour shifts, either on Day or Night shift based on team requirements. A night shift allowance of $20 per shift will be paid for any nights worked.
As a Shift Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for:
Receiving instructions from the Maintenance Planner / Engineering Manager / Head Boilerman or others as the needs of the business require.
Being a point of contact on all day-to-day steam supply issues for the production equipment and any other services equipment.
Ensuring company documented procedures and business rules are conformed to.
Ensuring all work is done with the correct work request paperwork and all information is provided.
Ensuring all work is completed and reported with the correct reporting paperwork.
Who are you?
You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive and proactive attitude, enjoy working hard, and are honest, reliable, have attention to detail, and are willing to learn.
For this role, you'll need:
New Zealand Certificate in Energy and Chemical Process Operations (Level 4)
Must understand and work to the ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System and ensure that all activities and information are documented and available upon request.
