Join a 100% New Zealand owned company with an international reputation for qualityOpportunities for growth with opportunities across multiple brands and locationsJob DescriptionAbout The RoleWe are looking for a Boiler Operator to join the team at our Ashburton plant.Based on your experience and qualifications, your pay will range from $33.80 - $46.80 per hour.You will be working on a shift roster pattern 4 ON 4 OFF, 12-hour shifts and will be either working on Day or Night shift based on the team requirement. A night shift allowance of $20 per shift will be paid for any nights worked.As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for:Receiving instructions from the Boiler & Service Lead, Engineering Manager, or other relevant personnel as required by the business. Acting as the point of contact for day-to-day steam supply issues related to production and other service equipment. Ensuring compliance with the company's documented procedures and business rules. Completing all tasks with the appropriate work request paperwork, ensuring all necessary information is provided. Ensuring all work is completed and accurately documented with the correct reporting paperwork. QualificationsFor this role, you'll need:New Zealand Certificate in Energy and Chemical Process Operations (Level 4, or with Level 3 and willing to work towards level 4). Must understand and work to the ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System and ensure that all activities and information are documented and available upon request.
