About the role This role is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) which suits someone looking for flexibility or who wants to have freedom to undertake other activities or has family commitments.  We are looking for a suitable person whois able to work with both the CEO and the Board Chairman and provide secretarial level support for the Board. This will involve helping organize Board meetings and preparing Board agendas as well as taking minutes and actions from each meeting.  You will also be an integral part of the small Secretariat team of the organization, and have the responsibility for the smooth running of the office and administrative functions. The role is varied and you will be engaging with a range of internal and external contacts. Therefore you will be comfortable in communicating and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders  We are looking for someone who is up for a challenge, is great self-starter, and likes to have variety in their job.  Qualifications & experience 3-5 years+ experience is ideal. Board Secretary experience, business administration or similar qualifications. Experience with BoardPro/other board management software is desirable High quality writing capability; including composition, grammar, spelling and attention to detail. Strong organisational and time management skills.  Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft office product suite including Word, Excel, Teams etc. A self-starter with great interpersonal skills Tasks & responsibilities Provide executive assistant services to the CEO and Board Chairman Air travel for Board and other meetings held outside of Wellington  Provide support and secretarial services to the Board  Ensure the effective day-to-day administration of the office  Assist with event management activities for the organization Assist with client relationship management Part-time role, suitable for someone looking for flexibility in their hours This part time role is based in our central Wellington office with flexible working options.  If you would like a full copy of the job description, or more information about this role at Medicines New Zealand then please contact us at: Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
