We are looking for an enthusiastic, and technically orientated person to join our team as a Building Automation Systems Engineer.
This is a full-time position based in our Christchurch Office.

The role involves the following key areas:
PLC configuration and programming of building automation systemsCreation of MMI system graphicsSystem engineering including finalizing equipment selections and system functional operationsCreation of control drawings Engineering and creation of controls operational descriptionsOn site commissioning and testing of automation systems Ongoing system support, troubleshooting and servicing workKeeping up to date with automation system technology, integration solutions and data networksWe are looking for a motivated, self-managing team player with the following skills and attributes:
A qualification in automation, mechanical or mechatronics engineering.Experience working with Siemens or similar automation products.Proficient with computers, operating systems and software with some understanding of networksAble to deal confidently with a wide cross section of individuals and entitiesCapable of absorbing technical system/product knowledge and then providing training to othersGood problem-solving skillsYou will be working in a friendly supportive team environment with a good remuneration package which includes a vehicle, laptop, cell phone and uniform.
