Job Description We're looking for a mechanically minded person to work as part of the operational team, providing Extrusion Blow Moulding specific technical services. The role is about ensuring the efficient running of the production machinery and ensuring the process has the capability to meet all facets of the customer's requirements in a manner that does not compromise the safety of the team members. This role is day shift, 3.00pm to 11.00pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities include: Performing die changes on all Extrusion Blow Moulding equipment, including setup of ancillary equipment Ensuring that the product is up to quality specifications at start up Assisting with the efficient operation of the production area Carrying out routine maintenance on work centres Troubleshooting problems with machines, tools, and ancillaries We're looking for: Plastics Trade qualification Level 4 or similar Extrusion Blow Mould processing experience Flexibility and the ability to work day shift primarily Experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment across multiple production processes A well-organised and disciplined approach to work A great attitude; have this and we are willing to train and develop you Knowledge of and experience working in a Continuous Improvement environment OH&S Responsibilities: Participate in any risk management process as outlined by the company. Responsible for completing a Hazard Identification report for occupational health & safety issues that may cause an accident/incident and reporting to Team leader or Safety Committee Member. Responsible for reporting any injuries that may be sustained. Responsible for taking reasonable care to avoid injuries. General Responsibilities: Assist the Team leader in maintaining production quality and output to specified standards. Assist the Team leader in ensuring that products are manufactured and packed in accordance with specifications. Conduct machine setting changes to ensure quality and efficiency meet specifications and efficiency targets. Address processing concerns identified by QC checks. Ensure all machines are in a well-maintained condition and routine machine checks are carried out. Clean up any spillage around machine. Ensure bags of regrind and any material left over from jobs are closed, clearly identified and labelled. Troubleshoot machine when a problem needs rectifying. Cleaning extrusion heads when instructed. Follow policies and procedures implemented by the company and as per Induction Handbook. Other duties as instructed by the Team leader, which are deemed to be an appropriate part of the daily responsibilities. Your skills and experience: 5 Years minimum experience as a Blow Moulding Operator/Technician. Metal or Electrical trade qualification would be an advantage. Forklift license would be an advantage.
