Intergroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial coatings, and infrastructure.

The sky is the limit; you'll have the opportunity to work across some of New Zealand's best and most challenging projects.
From Offshore Oil and Gas Platforms, Naval Frigates, Commercial Marine and Shipping, Bridge Painting, Iconic Buildings, Refineries - you'll have the opportunity to specialize in many areas of the coatings industry.
This is a dynamic job - you'll be spray painting (both conventional and airless spray) a range of products from primers, 100% solids, and fireproofing, as well as abrasive blasting and power tool cleaning of items to be painted.
The role is from Monday to Thursday, 4 x 10-hour days per week.
You will be paid time and a half after 40 hours.
In addition, there will be extra pay while working on ropes, and offshore work will be available.
There will be site-based work as well.
We are looking for experienced Blaster Painters for Taranaki.

Ideally, you'll be resilient, adaptable, have perseverance, and teamwork.
The technical stuff you'll need includes: Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial painting Knowledge of different types of surface preparation from sanding, grinding, abrasive blasting, wet blasting, and water jetting corrosion through to coating application methods and techniques Brush & roller, conventional spray painting, airless spray painting ARC thermal spraying, and plural component spraying would be held in high regard Knowledge of surface preparation, corrosion and metal types, corrosion control, and standard coating methods and techniques So come and join our great team today – and show us your character!
