Bitumen Sprayer Operator - Bay of PlentyCome and join our Rotorua Chip Sealing crew! We are currently looking for a Bitumen Sprayer Operator to join our team for the upcoming sealing season. With a brand new SRE sprayer in the yard, all we need is a fantastic operator!We're looking for a candidate who has a great attitude, strong work ethic and wants to contribute and refine their skills as part of our team. You will be part of a nationally recognized sealing crew, supervised by one of the best leaders in the business.We have a healthy forward workload in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty with potential for work across the North Island. You'll get accommodation provided and a generous non-taxable away from home allowance per day when you travel!What knowledge / experience / qualifications are we after?Class 5 license preferred with Dangerous Goods ticketExperience with SRE Sprayers and systems and an ability to keep gear clean and tidy to a high standardMinimum 5 years' experience in sprayer operation across all sealing works (first coats, reseals, second coats)Significant experience with bitumen products and spray ratesAbility to travel outside of Waikato/BOP on occasionGood communication skills and high Health and Safety StandardsBe an honest, reliable team player with a positive attitudeWTR is also highly recommended but can be obtained with the right candidate.Full time or Contract options could be available for the right person - Get in touch to discuss.Who are you?You're passionate about what you do and genuinely take pride in a job well done. This is a physical role, so you need to be fit and well to carry out your duties.We offer a guaranteed 40 working week, and a competitive hourly rate. Some Saturday work will be required from time to time as required for the project, particularly during the summer months during reseal season.You're big on Health & Safety in the workplace, dedicated to working safe and going home safe - and you expect the same of your work mates.
