Based from our state-of-the-art Omanawa - Matakokiri Drive laboratory, this role will manage production, import and performance testing activities ensuring compliance with industry standards, and business and customer expectations are being met.
Key focus areas will include: The supervision of laboratory operations in bitumen and emulsion testing, providing technical and quality support and ensuring work is carried out in accordance with IANZ/Downer standards.Collaboration with the Section Leads to mentor and train Laboratory Technicians to help them gain their KTP signatory.Managing the use and performance of equipment with a focus on technology implementation and innovation to enhance the business.Fostering a Zero Harm culture and demonstrating our Downer Values (Connection, Respect, Excellence and Integrity) in your day-to-day decisions and tasks.Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in bitumen and emulsion testing in a contracting industry and/or laboratory environment.
