Bird Control Officer And Maintenance Personnel

Become a seasonal Bird Control Officer / Maintenance Personnel and be a very important part of the puzzle in protecting our precious cherries.
Due to severe winds, we have lost some parts of our nets and are now looking for someone to keep the birds under control and assist with maintenance tasks.About the job:Bird Control Tasks:Driving around in the orchard making noiseRefilling gas guns in the orchardUsing pyrotechnic gun to scare the birdsClearing out mist netsMaintenance Tasks:Filling up diesel generators around the campsiteHelp fixing small things around the campsite if neededMaintaining a clean and tidy camp environment (we have commercial cleaners coming once a day; just looking for overflowing rubbish bins or filling up toilet paper/hand towels)About you:Very aware of health and safetyExperience in driving a quad bike is preferredStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyPhysical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditionsExperience in maintenance is helpful but not requiredAbout the benefits:Supportive and dynamic work environmentCompetitive wagesLoyalty bonus if you stay the whole season and meet the requirementsEnvironment that encourages the free flow of ideasTransport and accommodation provided (if needed)Staying fit while getting paid ;-)Does this sound like you?
