Role Summary
As a BIM Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our operations team, combining engineering expertise with advanced Revit modeling skills. This role goes beyond basic drafting – we're seeking an engineer who can both design and model, contributing meaningfully to project outcomes through technical understanding and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop detailed 3D models of building services systems using Revit, with particular focus on hydraulics and mechanical (HVAC) systemsActively participate in the design process, identifying potential issues and suggesting improvementsCreate innovative solutions for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systemsConduct quality checks and validate design integrity from an engineering perspectiveCollaborate with global team members to integrate various building systems seamlesslyApply engineering principles to overcome complex design challengesEnsure models accurately represent mechanical and hydraulic systemsContribute to the optimization of building performance and energy efficiencyParticipate in virtual project meetings and design reviewsStay updated on industry trends and best practices in BIM and building services engineeringRequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (strongly preferred) or related engineering fieldProven experience in building services design, particularly in mechanical (HVAC) and hydraulic systemsAdvanced proficiency in Revit and 3D modeling softwareDemonstrated ability to both model and understand engineering principlesStrong understanding of building services systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)Excellence in problem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote environmentStrong English communication skills, both written and verbalDesired AttributesPassion for sustainable building design and energy efficiencyProactive approach to identifying and resolving design issuesAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologiesExperience with hydraulic system designAbility to work effectively across different time zonesWhat We OfferOngoing training and professional developmentIntegration into an established operations team of engineers
